Hi,

I have been on the board almost 2 years. My daughter Emerence did

have a more prominent forehead as a baby, was IUGR, has curved

pinkies, low muscle tone, is on her 4th set of ear tubes, has excess

energy, is small for her age, has smaller chin, downturned lips,

needed feeding therapy, has left buttock asymmetry and we think her

left side is a little off. Her ears are low set although only one is

slightly posteriorly rotated. There are other things the geneticist

noted too. For genetics if you have 5+ characteristics you have the

syndrome. However, Emerence's face now is much more square. So, SGA

vs RSS is the differntial diagnosis our geneticist keeps. Either way,

SGA or RSS, this is the group to be part of. SGA kids are affected

the same way RSS kids are for most things so don't go anywhere!
