Guest guest
Tammy, Yes, she means the RSS kids. It seems to be a common trait among the majority of RSS kids. Don't know why, but it is. Guest guest
It's found it kind of strange that had no eyelashes when she was born, but then all of sudden poof she had these beautiful long lashes. Everyone comments on them! I haven't been too active on the site lately, how is your household going? How is ? Tammy Jodi wrote: Tammy, Yes, she means the RSS kids. Guest guest
BUSY! I have become like a single parent these days! My husband works ALL the time now. But, I can't complain. He is doing one heck of a job. I don't know how he keeps it up, but he has such a great attitude about it. is well. Been healthy for a spell now. I just hope it continues. He is back to gagging a lot again and spitting up some. I have his growth hormone here and now I just have to wait for someone to teach me how to give it. I am nervous about starting it, though. It's one of those things. Happy about the progress, but scared to have to give it everyday and afraid he will change towards me. Right now I am his protector. When he has to get shots he knows mommy will be there to hold his hand. I hate that I am the one that will have to be giving the shots now. He hates them so much. We have such a great bond, I am afraid to have that go away. But, then again, he is a very smart little boy, so hopefully he will realize that mommy is trying to help him. We'll just have to see. UGH! ;o) Thanks for asking about . Guest guest
Jodi, I'm so glad we started GH before turned 2. The shots don't seem to bother her. In fact, she rolls over and patts her little bottom when it time for the shot. I wipe the area with an alcohol pad first and then she waves her hand to dry it. The only part she doesn't like is me pinching the skin up to give the shot. She has no fact so I have too pinch up what she does have so it won't go to the bone. screams when a nurse comes in to give her a shot, but doesn't seem to mind if I give her one. Maybe will be the same. I am 's protector also and I hated the first time I had to give it to her, but she's such an angel and somehow makes it so easy on me. Isn't that something! A child making it somehow easy for a mom to give a shot! Anyway, I'm glad is doing well right now. has a cold, as usual. I've been tube feeding her alot, because of her congestion. I don't mind it though, I'm trying to give her a little more each time to hopefully stretch her stomach so she can take in more. Right now she can only take in 3 oz at a time tops. Guest guest
That sounds encouraging. Hopefully will respond in the sane way. He is 3 1/2, so he will know waht I am doing to him. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I just hope he does well. I just hate to be the one inflicting the pain. He has been through so much I don't want him to think I have turned into one of the " bad guys " . has always been very volume sensitive. He has to run on the pump at a lower rate over a longer period to get what he needs. It takes him close to two hours to take three ounces of formula! I wish I could just bolus him like so many others do, but I just can't. I hope feels better soon. I know the whole congestion thing all too well myself! Guest guest
Jodi, Do you know what causes him to be sensitive to volume intake? I've often wondering this about . When does he start GHT again? Tammy Jodi wrote: That sounds encouraging. Hopefully will respond in the sane way. He is 3 1/2, so he will know waht I am doing to him.
