sorry your feeling down, but i know exactly what your going through..when one thing happens upon another. You begin to say..what's next..or you've got to be kidding...what? Yep, that sleep depravity & pain will exhaust you. I hate that...i remember getting out of my 3rd surgery & waiting post surgery for my epidural..omg..it seemed like an eternity..they were waiting & waiting.. I mean i'm just out of surgery & post operating..i see my dr & nurses..my dr writing on his report or something & i glance over & yell to my dr..i'm in PAIN! & he then he yells..WHERE'S HER PAIN MED..and then the nurses say we're waiting on pharmacy..OMG...they wheeled me it ICU & i was still waiting. Needless, to say...after epideral, morphine, & 3day pain patch..the pain FINALLY subsided.

I also remember that time when i had oral surgery & the pain med didnt work for me & my sis found me crying..she called dentist & got me something else. OMG,,can i sympathize with you. And of course, the sleepness nights....TERRIBLE! Girl, God help you! I pray you somehow make it through the night. I think it took me about 2 months before i could sleep all night..i had to finally ask for ambien. Then a few months later the dr prescribed to me amitryptylin 10mg..its worked for me ever since. Please take care of yourself. well, did you get your Christmas decor up @ least? I keep trying to get into the Christmas spirit...but not sure where it is? Maybe it was the pneumonia spell i had a few weeks ago that got me down...of course being in hybernation might of done it too. This is the 1st week i go out in 3weeks...had to see the

dr's. Oh well, now i'm rambling...take care cees..your in my thoughts & prayers.. I just keep smiling because of MIRANDA'S new lungs! Gosh, i'm so very happy for her..us too..one day..one day soon!

Hi all,Didn't know what else to title this posting. Just when I started coming out of my slump, I get hit with something else out of left field.Stupid me was on a ladder yesterday digging out Christmas decorations from the garage when I fell off! I won't go into the MAJOR pain & other problems trying to get back into the house & then to Kaiser for treatment, but after many hours, I got this diagnosis.Fractured right ankle, major sprain of right ankle & heel, sprained right wrist & seriously bruised left foot. Not to mention scraped knees & right elbow. Can't even touch my right foot to the ground & can't use crutches because right wrist & left foot are also damaged. They say my insurance doesn't cover a wheelchair. All I can do is crawl & that ain't easy with scraped knees.They put a splint on it, but I had to take it off because my foot started swelling even more. I kept it wrapped

though. They gave me the generic version of Vicodin, but it's not even touching the pain. I was awake all night, crying over the pain for half of it. I don't remember ever feeling so much pain.They won't increase the meds (although I did it on my own anyway, to no avail) or give me anything different until I have a follow-up appt with an orthopedist. That's not until tomorrow afternoon.You can probably tell I'm also majorly depressed again right now. Sorry about that. Cees, S CalifIPF/UIP 10/08
