Guest guest
, I am very glad that you have been so successful with your DS surgery and appear to be happy with your choice. I just wanted to let you know that there are some of us out here who are very happy with the choice of RNY and would choose it again if given the choice. I believe that I am a food addict and always will be. I am happy that part of my surgery is the life long restrictions of certain foods. This allows me to eliminate them from my life so as not to suffer the consequences. I have never and will never learn to eat certain foods in moderation. I am an all or nothing person and I am very happy to be forced into following certain guidelines. My point is that although you are happy with your surgery, don't take the position that it is superior because that is just your opinion. I am not trying to start a debate which I guess is inevitable!!! Stacey
Guest guest
Yes, I am having it fixed on January 28th along with the hernia repair. I think I have finally jumped through the all of the preop hoops. Now I just have to wait for the results of the stress test.
