DOC band and flat spot by velcro

My LO is 9 months old and he's been in his DOC band for 7 weeks. I feel like

the band is restricting his head growth at the holding point on the plagio side

of his head (near the velcro). The spot that I'm referring to is above and

slightly behind his ear and it is a spot that needs to fill-in in order for us

to get good correction.

Has anyone else had this problem?
