How's her recuperation coming along? Hope she's up and moving around. Please

You'd never know she was even a post-op! She was dressed by day 5 and

anxious to go out and play. Today was Day 6 and she went all day long.

Needed a nap but didn't take one because she didn't want to miss

anything. Sheesh. I wish I'd recovered at that speed.

If I could just put her on a tether and let her roam, she'd be very

happy. Then I could reel her in when she gets tired. LOL! One of our

almost-Grads showed her around some, we did a little and she has non-WLS

friends in the area that she will spend some time with. She loves this

area and can't get enough of it.

Well, so do I, so at least I'll point out the sights, even if we can't

travel far to go visit them. At least she didn't waste a lot of time

lying around recovering or anything. LOL!

That sounds like Cindy. Hey, today is my 2 year anniversay! Wish I could

have gone with Cindy and gotten a 2 for one deal. lol. I've still never

been happy with my loss from the beginning. I gave up on my surgeon a long

time ago. So tired of leaving his office in tears because he acted like I

was messing up. I'm wondering if when they scoped me last year and stretched

the stoma a little that it might have been a little too much. Of course the

surgeon says, " No, you must not be eating correctly, and you don't need

those shakes. " I actually stopped them for awhile, buying into the theory

that they were " just " added calories. I know, I need to be beaten with a

stick. Getting back on track with them now and forcing the water (yuck).

Well, 4 a.m. here. Time to try and sleep again. Not having much luck with

that tonight.
