Hi Jayar,

Congrats on 3 months! All the pain now is a great congratulations for

having most of your feeling back, huh? I can sympathize with you

about being reduced back to soft foods after ortho... I definitely am

which is frustrating when eating solid food still seems new and

wonderful! Anyway, I was just wondering.... I have a lot of feeling

back too, but have observed that I do have strange intermittent areas

of numbness still in my gumbs that isn't readily obvious. Could all

the problems with bleeding in your gums and discomfort be due to the

cleaning? Blisters and swelling is pretty unusual for ortho-type

adjustments. Maybe at the cleaning, they nicked you and you didn't

feel it fully.... or they scraped and you couldn't feel it to tell

them it was too much or too sensitive? Could they have irritated a

site for one of your plates or screws if they didn't know where they

were- thus causing swelling? I worry about that kind of thing when I

will have my first cleaning post-op. Also, I was surprised that

your surgeon even ok'd the cleaning so soon after surgery! You are

lucky! I came back from Russia after a month of drinking black tea

all day long and my teeth were terribly stained but my surgeon told

me to wait on the cleaning anyway.... so who knows?! They are all

different! Regardless, I hope your discomfort subsides, and again,

congrats! It's all downhill from here! :)
