Hi everyone, Apols for not being around of late i have been V busy

at UNI!

I just thought whilst i had the chance that i would check in and see

how everyone is doing. Its great, GREAT to see more brits joining,

congrats to everyone who has had surgery hope your recoveries are

going well! Best wishes for those with up comming surgeries!

To the vets aka my surgery buds. I had an interesting phone call

from my orthos secretary the other day. Completely out of the

blue. My step dad phoned me to say he had spoken to hear " instant

fear " i thought i had to go back arhghhhh. Not that i would mind

meeting up with my ortho but my check up appointment wasnt due for

another 2 eyars. Anyway turned out they wanted to make use of my

wistufl knowledge (mwahhhharrr). My ortho had a patient who was 16

and was undecisive about her up coming surgery simialr to mine, so

he wanted to know if i would talk to her. Hmmm " concellor kat " has

a ring to it dont you think? He he. Well i was quite moved that

they thought of me after all this time and obviously over the moon

to be able to help and pass on the knowledge i had learnt from

everyone here. Turns out though that the girl has decided against

the surgery which seemed a shame after all the work, but everyone

has a right to their own decision. SO now i am on the list as a

councellor haha. Its nice to know that they still think of you

huh? Im hoping that my job offer my orth o made me will still stand

next year when i graduate i may take him up on it!!! haha. Set up a

big advertisement for this site and a supportt course at the

hosptial, would be FANtastic! Anyway i just wanted to fill you guys

in and thankyou on the great job you do, i felt privelaged to be

thought of supproting others it really puts things into perspective

and i couldnt help the people i meet wihtout the support from you

guys so thanks. Sorry feeling mushy today!!!! hehehe. I hope all

my surgery buddies are doing fab and that everyone is staying safe

over where the hurricanes are.
