It has no flavor and 1/3 cup gives me 28 grams of protein. doesn't affect the taste and I get my oatmeal which I love. Kaye RE: Carb Monster! > Do you do protein drinks? I have discovered that if I can keep my hands busy doing something else, they will be to busy to put anything in my mouth. I do a lot of crocheting and counted cross stitch type stuff. I take my vitamins either with the shake or the glass of water. Then I wait an hour or so and decide again if I am hungry. But before I eat, I do another protein shake. It does not have any vitamins. It is just strictly protein. I've used it in coffee as well as oatmeal and it lumps a bit, but still works fine. It's advertised to be used in hot things so should be OK. When it comes in the mail it is in a plastic bag with no instructions. You have to get all info off the website. It's about 8.95 a pound. I keep some in my car in a little plastic thing and sprinkle it on salads, add to soups it works great. I need to use it more than I do.
