Guest guest
Pam, I read where you found some site on nerve regeneration. I just had surgery #4 (its a long story)..my feeling in my upper gums were just coming back after 8-9 months from 3rd surgery..can you give me the website, etc that you found this info on...Im afraid that they may stay numb forever..thatnks for any help...Im new to this site Jill v123violet wrote: Hi Ashlee! 12 weeks - your surgery must seem to long ago! I'm glad you're doing well - happy birthday too! I've been doing lots of reading on the numb lip & chin, and there seems to be a 1-3 month recover on minor nerve exposure and then the 3-12 month recovery on nerves that may have been exposed longer. So....there's still lots of time for your lip & chin - mine are numb too so I find reading up on it helps ease my anxieties about it a little bit. Guest guest
Thanks for the info Jill v123violet wrote: Hi Jill, there's alot of information on the web about neurosensory disturbance. None of the information I read told of any way to help regenerate the nerves, other than letting them regenerate them on their own. I can't find the link that I had that gave the statistics...sorry, just do some googling, you'll find alot of studies and info.
