Guest guest
Hello Cammie, Actually at first I thought the tooth bothering me was the molar #19 which yes, did have a root canal on it. After really paying attention to what was bothering me it started coming clear that it was the tooth next to it #20 which has not had a root canal on it. When the endodontist tested it today for cold and hot, it was #20 that was sensitive to both. Of course the root canal tooth on #19 would not be sensitive to anything since the nerves were removed. My endodontist stated the tooth's root is slowly dying. He did state that he wants me to hold off a few days though on the root canal hoping that maybe the tooth will settle down, but stated don't get my hopes up yet because normally once a tooth becomes sensitive to hot, cold, and sweets it only means the root is in the process of dying which can't be reversed. Anyway, I am a pro at these root canals and have no fear in having them. I guess I shouldn't after 10 root canals..(haha) Heck after having jaw surgery this is surely a piece of cake! --Caboose > > Hi All, > > > > Well today I ended up at the endodontist for this tooth pain I have > > been having on tooth #20.
