Well, I liked the orthodontist I went to see today, and I liked what he had

to say...Actually, i liked what he *didn't* say.....he took all of the

diagnostic stuff, and I have an appointment next week to go over my options

after he analyzes the molds, photos, and xrays. He was quite optimistic that

a lot could be done.

Dr. Vince Cullen is the orthodontist, he has offices in Bucks County and

Norristown and he's affiliated w/ UPenn.

From what he saw in the initial consult, figured about a year of braces

before surgery. He gave me a general quote of $5500 for the 1 year of braces

(clear braces, brand name " Ice " ) and an additional $3000 for the OS

surgery. No interest, no finance charge loans available through the office.

$1500 due at the start of treatment. If I switch to my husband's insurance,

that will cover $1500 of it.

Hi Fran,

I *think* it's $3000 for the entire surgery....of course, that's just

a ballpark figure, since it was the OD and not the OMS quoting the price.

Hi ,

Do you mean that the OD is willing to finance the OMS and the OD

work both? If I am reading that right, that is amazing! Let us

know what you find out when you go to the OMS!
