Hi, PJ,

Not sure if my experience is relevant to your situation, but I thought I'd put

it out there. Review everything you are eating and see if there's anyway you

might be eating something contaminated with gluten. I used to have to go a

number of times in the morning; it was really annoying, yet the doc said it was

nothing to be concerned about. But since I went mostly SCD (in support of )

and stopped eating gluten (most of the time), the " job " gets done. I notice

when I do endulge in gluten, the issue returns.

Maybe some other illegals work that way, too, but for me it's gluten.

PJ,

You were just on antibiotics. Your gut ecology shifted and something may be

overgrowing or

out of balance. Just be patient as you work through it.

As you know, when you take antibiotics, you can expect a gut reaction until

things are restored.

Thanks, I will check for any gluten contamination, and yes, Mara, you are

correct. Wish I never had to take the darn things but I was getting fever/chills

with the UTI. At least that part is over. I am eating lots of yogurt, so I hope

that will help.

Hi PJ,

Up your probiotics and S Boulardii.

Do you use any charcoal- that can help.

Take it easy.. it takes time after a UTI..

I had almost the same situation as you after a UTI but I also had urgency with

just mucous.

Usually, I'm a once a day girl. I am still cooking and peeling all fruits and

veggies and sticking to easy to digest foods. Still having some minor grumblies

and occasional dull aches and gas. Nothing major thankfully.

This was a symptom in the beginning of SCD, but went away once I began eating

more fruits and veggies. Do you think cutting back is the problem here? Things

are formed and the first round is often trophy like, but the rest is just

sketchy. I sometimes feel as if I am still a bit off.

Thanks Jodi- I've never used charcoal or S bouillardi. Usually tons of yogurt

and soups do the trick. I'm hoping this time it will too.

Many thanks,

Sure PJ.

Just so you know though S Boulardii mitigates against antibiotic damage- good to

keep on hand!

Feel better soon!

Thanks, I've always been a bit shy about a new bug, but I will definitely keep

it in mind, thanks!
