Re: organic shortening -- illegal?

My guess is that it's palm shortening, which as far as I know, is legal.

Yeah - me too. But if you have questions, by all means call them up and ask and

get it resolved in your own mind. Quickest way to solve things.

I asked them a while ago and found that it was SCD legal. I never had a

reaction, I just noticed that that was one of the ingredients and wanted to make

sure it was okay. Unfortunately that was several years ago and I can't remember

exactly what their answer was (I htink it might have been spectrum palm oil).

They're very nice about answering questions like that though so you could ask.
