Guest guest
I just got unbanded yesterday. I'm now 4 weeks post op. My doctor said to use a straw and spoonfeed if I can. However I'm having trouble using the spoon with the splint on my upper. The splint is in the way. Anyone have any experience with this. Thanks, Brad
Guest guest
Brad, For all of us with splints we all agree, they're a pain in the butt! Try using a baby or childs size spoon. Also, I use forks quite a bit for mashed foods. Forks are thinner and easier to put in between your teeth. Connie > I just got unbanded yesterday. I'm now 4 weeks post op. Guest guest
I have a splint (until next tuesday anyway, YEA!!!) and i find that spoons can be a pain in the ass. i either have to dump the food in my mouth, or that i need to flip the spoon upside down so i can lick off the spoon with my tongue (this only works with stuff like yogurt that will stay on the spoon). forks rock! cori upper/2-piece lefort 7/20 > > I just got unbanded yesterday.
