Guest guest
Hi Joanne, I haven't heard of any chiropractors who do MLD therapy, but it's possible. It's not necessarily a specialty amongst massage therapists either, my therapist was a physiotherapist (which meant she was more expensive than my massage therapist, although my health insurance plan did cover most of it minus the usual deductions). But there certainly are a fair number of massage therapists who offer the treatment. I was lucky enough to be given the name of an excellent therapist (who also teaches this therapy) by my massage therapist. I would suggest that if you've booked an appointment with someone already, you go through with the therapy with that person, or decide now on someone else. That's just my personal opinion, I don't shop around during treatment once I've selected someone. You could check the MLD page on the geocities site for a link to the Vodder school in the USA to see if there are any Vodder-trained therapists in your area. It might be faster than cold-calling chiropractors and therapists and you'd be sure of getting someone with top level training. Hope that helps, > For all of you who have had this, > I scheduled an appointment with a massage therapist who does MLD > massage for next thurs. and was wondering, as I was interested in > finding someone who takes my health insurance. > I've heard that some chiropractors do this. Guest guest
At my chiropractors office a MDL therapist came in once a week. Then the office billed my insurance for treatment.
