Guest guest
Hi , I surely hope that will not be the case for you. Keep trying to get those fluids down! I have been having brief bouts of dizzy spells yesterday and today which I am sure is from my lack of vitamins and diet. I go in Saturday for a blood test to see what's going on. I am sure it has something to do with my low iron count. I was bordeline anemic before surgery and seem to get nauseated when I try to take the iron tablets that I was taking pre-op. So we will see what the good ole doc says. I am sure I will be just fine! I will keep you in my thoughts! --Caboose > , > > I'm glad you had a good first day back at work. I too am struggling with the calorie intake, despite what I eat the weight still comes off. And if it continues we will have to do more test and possibly a tube! Which I have totally refused. > > I'm loking forwards to goin back to work soon!! > > > > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
, This may sound strange but I came out of the surgery anemic. My surgeon doesn't know if I was anemic before the surgery or if the surgery caused it. He asked if i had notcied that I was anemic prior to the surgery I said no. He also asked if I had been feeling tired, run down etc before the surgery and I said yes, and that's the signs of anemia. I was aksed why I didn't act on this and see my Dr but I explained to him that my grandmother who I was very close to had recently passed away and i had just started a new job working in a children's dasy nursery so I thaught it was down to that. Any way enough rambling LOL I have been on iron medications since the surgery and my iron levels still aren't picking up which is a concern for us right now as it should be picking up without the iron medication (tablets are a lot better than liquid). He will run further tests this week while i'm in hospital. I am drinking a lot of fluids right now but they still don't keep the weight on, so we will see. Though I am totally against any kind of tube especially a feeding tube down my nose. --------------------------------- Yahoo! Mail Stay connected, organized, and protected.
