Hi there... I mostly keep a back seat and read the

activity but chime in when I have questions. My

daughter will be seen for genetic testing on the 17th.

We willhave a long talk with the geneticist about

family history and all that jazz. We are being seen

thru the shriners hosiptal in Greenville SC. I was

monitored weekely while pregnant with .. and has

several tests ran on us both. None of them came back

with anything... so I don't know what else they can

get from us. We all love testing don't we?

thanks :)

Hi ,

Did have the chomosome 7 testing done yet? Apparently it is

only less than 10% of RSS kids that show this but maybe that's what

they are doing. Our old Ped did a Fragile X test that was negative.

It's hard to say. If there's other things I'm sure that someone will

speak to it.

Good luck with your apt.

- Glad to know you are out there! <grin> I was asking the

Geneticist question only because you will probably feel more

confident after this meeting about a possible diagnosis for your

daughter. My dh, myself and Ian all had genetic testing done to

rule out UPD7 - which came back negative. But, Ian was still

diagnosed with RSS. Honestly, she took one look at Ian and knew

right away. Anyway, I hope either way that you will get some

answers. Keep us posted. Hugs to .
