Guest guest
Thanks for the update Jodi. I have been really worried and haven't heard from her at all. Deb Ian is still in the hospital I just received an email from . Ian is still in the hospital. He does have a bad cold and he will not eat. He has to be on IV fluids to keep his blood sugars stable. Unfortunately they decreased his rate and strength, hoping he would eat, and then the IV infiltrated. He went downhill from there. It took 2 hours for the team to go put in another IV and, of course, his blood sugars plummeted. Trust to speak up, though. She let them have it! is with them over there. He is bored. They are hoping to be home for Christmas, but does not think it will come to be. The doctor offered to heplock his IV and let him go home, then let him return if need be, but is doubtful that is going to work, either. She is anxious to have the GI tests done and get the g-tube placed as soon as possible. Jodi Z
