Soy lecithin is a fat derived from soy. I specifically asked Elaine about it, and she said that it was legal. She did feel that lecithin derived from egg was better quality than soy lecithin, but soy lecithin was acceptable. I have an anaphylactic reaction to most soy, but I tolerate lecithin, apparently because it is an oil and does not contain any of the soy protein.. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
