Now that's impressive!

What foods can your daughter currently eat?

One of my favorite " carry with " foods is pecan souffle bread

roll-ups stuffed with any number of things, from homemade tuna salad to

gooshy beef spread. (In fact, I have to go make some gooshy beef spread

tonight, as my husband really likes it for his lunches.)

Hmm, Gooshy Beef Spread sounds a bit like my

usually gooshy Chicken Salad from the

blender! Hoping for your recipe. I'm so sick of

almost nothing but chicken in the protein department for years and years.....

Hi -

She can pretty much eat everything on the diet with the exception of coconut so

far and we have been going easy on the raw fruit and veggies. She is a PICKY

eater ugh. We found some legal turkey slices and wrap them in cheddar.

sandwiches are always great. Do you have a good bread recipe? Oh wait - is the school nut free? That would be hard. I make cheese sandwiches for DH to take to work. He doesn't like much else, but you can always do turkey or anything else you would put on a sandwich.

I also make all sorts of things into pancakes. Regular pancakes, chicken, squash, cheese (DCCC) - DH likes finger foods. :) If you need any recipes, let me know.

Chips are great too. I make zuchini chips in my dehydrator with olive oil and salt. (I used to make them in the oven).

Will she eat eggs - hard boiled are easy and travel well.

Good luck!

has one.

I use the waffles (recipe is in BTVC and Everyday Grain Free Gourmet) as my

bread. Maybe because I was a BIG bread eater pre-SCD, I find all the bread

recipes taste, to me, like an egg casserole.

I've made muffins from almond flour that have the taste and texture of " normal "

muffins. Every time I eat one, I know I'll never go back to grain muffins.

They're so dang good!
