Guest guest
iMy splint is not fitting properly anymore, and I have to wear it at least 2 more weeks. My OS said I could take it out to eat. Several times I became distracted after eating and forgot to put it back in until hours later. It was molded to fit my teeth before surgery, and so I think my teeth are shifting a little. It now hurts a bit to wear it. Anyone else have this problem? Patty
Guest guest
Nope, because mine was wired into my upper brace, and I could not take it out for seven weeks. My guess: I think you'd better figure out a way to remember to put it back in. Quickly. My second (should have been my first) guess: You'd better call your surgeon and talk about this problem with him/her. Unless you want to jeopardize your results from your surgery.
