Guest guest
Beth, I've never heard this before, not that it's not the case, but I know that's the instructions for Fosomax (which we shouldn't take anyway). I'd be curious to know which iron it is. in NJ ********************** > > > > " I currently have three different types of iron preparations at home. On two,(Carbonyl not being one of them) it cautions one not to lay down within 30 minutes of taking the supplement " > > Does anyone know the " whys and wherefores " of this, and is it a problem? The middle of the night routine has been pretty successful for many of my folks but I don't want to be suggesting it if it's a problem. > > Beth >

Guest guest
I do recall there was a caution about this on the pharmacy information sheet that accompanies prescriptions (like for the Chromagen & the Niforex). Seem to recall the caution was to not lay down for one hour. Even now, when I take my OTC iron at night during somnolent pee breaks, I will prop myself up against my headboard and fall back to sleep that way (I don't have a problem doing this, some others might I guess.) Why not call you local pharmacy chain and ask the pharmacist. They are really pretty good about this stuff. Lucille <<Okay, I have another iron question.
