Dear Pattie,

You made me cry with such a beautiful message. Jon is a blessed kid for

having such a wonderful mother. I am Nicolas' mother who actually is 18

months and he has not yet been diagnosed with RSS but is one possibility. We

are now in a stage were everything is a pain for him: laboratory tests,

visiting doctors, seeing his parents worried about his future, etc. We are

nowadays in the stage where people asks " how old is him, he is so liitle and

already walking! " (he walks since he was 14 months)

Your message has inspired me and has opened my view to a future I would

already like to know. You can imagine the fear, the frustration, the

anxiety, the pain we have been feeling for knowing that Nicolas childhood is

not going to be easy and that we will have to go trough a lot of things with

him to be healthy and happy specially.

All I have is to trust God and to believe that things happen for a reason.

We love Nicolas as anything else in the world and I am sure that someday I

will be writting an email as yours, advising other parents and giving them

the strenght your words have given me.

God bless you!

Pattie,

First, Happy Birthday to Jon. I enjoyed reading your post and all your

memories. I truly love how you held him in your arms as you did 11 years ago.

Just beautiful.
