Guest guest
Hi Jeanie, We've had some of the same problems with Bran. We've always felt like we were taking two steps forward, and one step back, in regards to his eating orally. One year at the convention, a feeding specialist explained that all kids backslide at one time or another, but that it was important to remember that you're not really " back " at the same place. Once you've had success, and it will come again, only quicker the next time. Does that make sense?? I kind of think of Bran's oral eating skills like the ocean's tide. When he's in one of his backslides we're at ebb tide, but I know that sooner or later, if we stick to it, we're going to hit another neap tide, and make progress in leaps and bounds. Hugs for you and Brockton! Just remember to keep on keeping on! Pat (g-ma to , RSS, 4 yrs old, 28# 10.6oz, 35 " , G-Tube, GHT)
