Guest guest
I am writing this in response to some older posts about electrolyte drinks that got me thinking. My son, age 8, has been SCD for 6 weeks for Crohns disease (diagnosed 7/18/10, and is not yet taking any traditional medicines. For the first 3 weeks he did so much better, but the last 3 weeks, he has been having what I suspect are die off symptoms. Not as bad now as 2 weeks ago, but still has joint pain, and lots of dizziness, low grade fevers, but they seem to be getting better this week too. Just wondering if the talk about low electrolytes could be helpful in combating the symptoms of the die off? Or maybe a better way to phrase this is, what are the symptoms of low electrolytes and could it be an effect of the die off? He is not having diarrhea. Thanks, yvette
