Peggy, First of all I don't think your posts are high school like at all. I too think virtual parties are fun, and a way to get to know others in the group without the disease getting involved. I can still get out and about, but I don't think that should make a difference. She is an amazing woman. Love her like my own. We missed MB like crazy.. We are the three musketeers. One was missing this time. Jan and Roger are coming for a visit Friday I am excited to see them. They are about an hour or so to get here. I am having to much fun now. I get very tired but give me an hour or so and I'm ready to go again. I DID stay in beduntil 11:AM today. it's also educational to read about what some people bring to the parties

especially the ethnic foods and the foods that are regional in the US

today i wrote about the lasagne because of the use of ground turkey being more healthy than ground beef

and for those of us who are lactose intolerant, i mentioned the lactaid cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese

Like you, I thought ground turkey was low fat until I found that ground round or ground sirloin has less fat than the turkey which includes the turkey skin in the grinding. Now I always use the ground round. Just a thought.----- "Joyce T Rosenberg" wrote:

we looked for ground turkey breast

with the 93% fat free label

i remember when my inlaws were on weight watchers back in the 60's

dark meat poultry was more limited than white meat poultry

we also look for the 93% fat free ground beef

don't know about buying a cut of beef and having it ground

have to rely on the super market
