Guest guest
Pat. The "Maslow " of my mother-in law's name was shortened from Maslowsky!! They came here in 1905, originally were from Russia...near what was then Poland Small world.. Huh! Apparently it is a fairly common name in Poland. The reason for "maslows" is simple a computer issue. When I was working and we first went on a mainframe, only 8 letters were allowed as username. What they did was take the first 7 letters of your last name and that was your user name. Then, if someone with the same last name started, their user name would be maslowsr (if their first name was Ray). Fairly simple and once I got used to maslows, I didn't feel any need to change. Also, maslow or maslows is supposed to mean butter in Polish. > > > > > > When I got sick first with PF, I was in San Diego, 2 days away from a > > Mexican Cruise. Guest guest
Wow, you both may be related to Abraham Maslow. Maslow created the pyramid of needs or health and we all need this. All of us can apply it in some way even if we are sick and get beyond our experience of being ill. Personally I have this pyramid on my refrigerator and when I am down I check off what I need to get back up...It takes work but we this is what our needs are. With a name like this maybe in you heritage take advantage of his knowledge. Maybe this will help you also The maslow's hierarchy of needs, check your needs off and what you are lacking and put it back into your daily life... I know it is hard but sure worth a try... Guest guest
Erna, I learned all about that hierarchy while in graduate school many many many years ago. My family has no relation to that particular Maslow. But his ideas do make sense. Z fibriotic NSIP/05 Z 65, fibriotic NSIP/05/PA And “mild†PH/10/07 No, NSIP was not self-inflicted…I never smoked!
