Guest guest
Well, here it is.... my 2 year anniversary of my surgery. Wish I was more excited. I started out at the surgeon's office weighing 260, came home from the hospital weighing 272 and for about 2 days back in early December I got down to 198. Now I'm back up to about 217. Looking back on everything, it has been some 2 years. Oh, heck, it's been some 2 days.... my puppy put his legs through a small plate glass window and I found out from my doc that I have a bacterial infection in my colon. Hopefully (??), that is why I put on so much weight so fast (about 10 pounds in a week) maybe I'm just retaining fluid like I've been told. On another board it was suggested to me that I don't drink my city water with all the junk that they put in it. Also, my town is known for having " boil only " warnings. The good things though since my surgery are.... my blood pressure is perfect (as long as the dog doesn't cut himself to smitherines.... vet bill $430!) and my blood sugars are normal, which they weren't before. At this moment all I want is to be able to sleep. I've been tossing and turning in bed for hours. Finally decided to get up an make a cup of herb tea.
