He is willing to try again, but I guess do the supp. first and see. Did they make the bms loose or was that caused by his condition in general - and they did not seem to help? If the former, which of them effected him that way? Elaine preferred sulfasalazine to some of the newer forms of the sulfa drugs because, through research, she felt it was the best at helping to control bacteria gone amuck in the gut. (Though I can't find that quote at the moment for backup). And I have to say that this also relates to my own experience. It didn't cure me but it did keep me in check and prevent me from getting worse, which happened for me over time after I switched to colazal. However, I can't say this wouldn't have happened anyway as I got older and it got harder for my body to fight off the effect of the illness.
