Guest guest
Hi all, I am having panniculectomy and double hernia repair (this one lap) on 1/26 and I am trying to protein load. How much is needed to consider " loading " ? I am trying to get in 90 g a day right now. I am really scared when I watch the Discovery Channel Health and see all the abdominoplasty and skin removal. Youza! It looks so dramatic. Question although I am feeling bad asking but it just keeps wandering around my mind: Has anyone ever known anyone who died from panniculectomy or abdominoplasty or hernia repair? Does anyone know the statistics on this? As you can tell, I am scared to death!!! One more question especially for Z who has done a lot of research in our calcium needs......vitalady has too! What about Miacalcin? Have you ever considered using it? I do and it brought me back in a year from osteopinea to perfect bones. Why don't more people use it? It is a nasal spray and has to taste, no smell, and is virtually a " non event " in my day. thanks to all of you for any help, Marilyn Childers in Fairmont, WV
Guest guest
Anyone can die from any surgery. It us a fact. anesthesia is for the most part safe, but it is difficult on the body. The statistics are quite low though and depend on your general health among other things. Re the Miacalcin - I used one dose and became deathly ill (possible allergy to salmon) and I can't use it again.
