interesting that you cut back on meds because of the donut hole

i will pay for my meds no matter what,

i will do without other things, that i used to do when working and not worried about medical expenses

i have learned to find less expensive ways to entertain myself

by less clothing and watch for sales, but not working, i don't need as much stuff,

I wish everybody in Washington could see your e-mail. I have friends in Canada, the UK, Australia, and France and they look at our health care situation and just shake their heads. When elected people in Washington can put their political wants ahead of the needs of the people, we're in pretty sad shape. Toward the end of last year, I cut back on some meds, lest I fall into the dreaded donut hole, and that's only a minor little thing compared to what some are facing, like my son, who has a job but no insurance at all and is married with four children. Fortunately their wife is a nurse.

besides, once you get out of the donut hole and into catastrophic, the rest of the meds are so much cheaper, it just takes along time to pay off the donut hole portion
