My memory is that the echinacea was a homeopathic preparation, not the

actual herb, but there's some confusion about that with some people

insisting Elaine allowed the herb, and others saying that it was not, and

some people maintaining that since echinacea is an immune system booster,

you don't want to take it if you have IBD, eSpecially if you are taking

IBD drugs which are typically immune suppressants.
