Guest guest
Hi Diane, I have had 10 root canals in the past 6 years and they really did not hurt bad at all. Actually my endodontist and I became really good friends and we chat back and forth to each other weekly. He recently retired to San , Texas, so it is going to feel strange having someone new performing a root canal on me. Those crowned teeth can surely be a challenge for the OD. My upper crown is going to be my OD final challenge to move it exactly to where it needs to be. Right now the crown is a little slanted and needs to be straightened. The lower crown also gave him problems at the beginning of my ortho treatment because the brackets just didn't want to stick to it. He finally gave up and put a band around the tooth which solved the problem. I have 7 crowns that will have to be put on once the braces come off. My dentist wanted to of course hold off on putting the crowns on because of the difficulty my OD would of had in getting all those crowned teeth to move. Anyway, I will keep my fingers crossed that everything will get better for you! Thanks for being a venting partner!! --Caboose > > Hi All, > > > > Well today I ended up at the endodontist for this tooth pain I have > > been having on tooth #20.
