Guest guest
Thanks, Dawna. I'm feeling much better today. It seems my voice has decided to return at last and my chest is almost clear. Now my job is to regain my strength. These bouts are getting harder and harder to bounce back from. I hate getting older. Jodi Z
Guest guest
Jodi - I was so glad to hear you are feeling better. You know - about the getting older part - yes - but we ARE getting wiser <grin>. - H > > Thanks, Dawna. I'm feeling much better today. Guest guest
, I may be over bronchitis, but now I'm fighting a stomach bug. Thank goodness Max always has Zofran in the house. I've been taking his meds to help the nausea. I have no time to be sick. What have I done in a prior life to deserve this????? Jodi Z > > > > Thanks, Dawna. I'm feeling much better today. Guest guest
Jodi - Oh, you have got to be kidding me. A stomach bug now? Well, this is just the pits. Hugs to you. You did nothing to deserve all this. Absolutely nothing. To be honest, I think sometimes our bodies get sick to make us stop and listen to the love around us. To take more in than we are able to because our lives are so full of emotions; good and bad. It's just your turn to focus on yourself, to let things be and find that peace within. You know, ginger ale always helps my stomach. I drink it warm. I'm always amazed by the difference. Crackers and butter too. My favorite. Wish I could help more. Thinking of you lot's. - H > > > > > > Thanks, Dawna. I'm feeling much better today. It seems my > voice > > has > > > decided to return at last and my chest is almost clear. Guest guest
, I hope the dangerous part has past. Warm Coke always does it for me. I had a toasted bagel and butter for dinner. That seemed to sit okay with me. I hope so. You are so positive about everything! You can even make a miserable stomach bug seem almost like a good thing. (Like that will ever happen!) But you are right. I did have a quiet evening and was able to relax and get some quiet things done tonight. Of course, the fact that my husband has my cold now really helped, too. He likes to be left alone and undisturbed. Jodi Z
Guest guest
Jodi - yes, isn't it nice sometimes when the husbands want to be left alone? LOL I hope you have a nice day today and start to feel a little better. Hugs to you. - H > > , > > I hope the dangerous part has past. Guest guest
I'm all better - I promise! And I hope I stay that way for a long time. Of course, kids at school are throwing up left and right, so it's only a matter of time until someone does it in my classroom. Yuck. It's one thing to deal with your own children, but someone else's? The hazards of being a teacher... Jodi Z
