Guest guest
I am NOT sure if this is legal or not, though it sounds OK. Mine is Simply Organic Madagascar vanilla and I think the Simply Organic must be the brand because I can't find anything else on here. It says distributed by Frontier Natural Products Norway. The ingredients say " organic vanilla bean, extractives in water, organic alcohol " . It also says no sugar. I have not written them for a legal letter yet, primarily because I've found this last year that grain alcohols give me as much excruciating pain as the nightshade foods do, so I haven't used this for ages. I don't honestly know if we CAN use grain alcohols? I just know I am better off if I don't. Marilyn??? What typrs og vailla extract is scd legal? Guest guest
Slightly red face here. AFter breakfast my eyes seemed to work better so I noticed the " Norway " is " Norway, Iowa " !!! If, however, you have already observed that it is a problem for you -- some people can't even eat grain-fed meat because they are so sensitive! -- then don't use it! THis sorta comes under the heading of " Doctor, doctor, it hurts when I do this! " To which the doc replies, " Then don't DO that! " You might try the vanilla in a glycerin base and see if that works better for you. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
