Congratulations. How is the stuffy nose? I've read a lot about that

on this site, and that kind of freaks me out. I'm afraid I won't be

able to breath. Is it worse than a cold?

Welcome to the other side Irene.... that is great that you are able to

sleep. Sleep passes the time and is very healing, so that is great.

We'll look for your updates on how you're doing.

Irene - Congratulations on making it to the other side - I bet you

are feeling so relieved to finally have the surgery behind you. I'll

be sending you some of my special healing vibes. Take care and rest

up.~~~~ Diane (Idaho) :-)#) [bSSO + LeFort next June]

Hi Irene,

Glad you are doing so well. You sound really good for one day post

op! Are your pain meds holding the pain off well? I know for my

during previous surgeries, I had to be really careful to take my pain

meds on time. It kept me ahead of the pain rather than trying to

catch up to it. Glad you posted!

Hugs,

Fran

Hi Fran,

In fact, I didn't take much pain-killer at all. It makes me quite

drowsy and I don't like it. There is not much pain at all after the

surgery. So I mainly take the antibiotics and whatever that I really

need to take besides the pain-killer.

Umm... did I answer your question?

Thanks Rene. In fact, today is my day 4 post-op. I can see that the

left side of my chin is less swollen now. However, I see some

bruises on both sides of the chin and I think it is normal.

I am doing well...and I hope everyone here who has already had

his/her surgery done is also doing well too.
