Guest guest
Hi Clare, I can say I understand your frustration. I was in your shoes a few months back. I was preparing for the same procedure as you, Lefort 3- piece, and my OD finally felt I was ready and the OS stated he needed more space between the upper bicuspids where the upper jaw was going to be segmented. I kept having to change my leave requests at work. Listen to your OS because he is the one who knows best since he is the expert performing your surgery. I had my Lefort 3-piece on June 28th and my OS did an outstanding job. I can't even tell where the jaw has been segmented. There is no scar showing anywhere in my mouth. I am truly amazed. If you have to put off the surgery for a few months until your OS says you are ready, then please know he is only doing this because he is wanting the best possible outcome for you! Just think that the more precise the teeth are after surgery, means less possible time in braces! Hang in there, you have made it this far in this long journey and you are almost ready to cross the finish line!! --Caboose > Hi all, > I was actually supposed to have my surgery august 8th, and it keeps getting > pushed back.
