Guest guest
Hello! I bet you are excited to finally make it to surgery. We share many of the same problems, so I will be interested to see how the surgery works for you. Let us know. Also, what is OS2? Guest guest
Hi Rene, OS2 is the other orthognathic surgery yahoo group. BTW, I forgot to mention that in addition to jaw surgery, I will be having an arthroplasty (sp?) done on my right TMJ. If anyone out there has had this procedure, I would appreciate hearing about your surgery. Yeah, Patriots! Guest guest
Hi Molly, I think we have emailed each other before. I had surgery for OSA done 2 years ago now. My surgery was a success as far as the apnea goes--I am still breathing great at night! My bite (open) has been a bit difficult to deal with. I just this week got my braces off. My joints are not in great shape either, so I pray that my bite stays stable. Well, good luck with your surgery. Keep us posted. a > Hi everyone, > > I've been a lurker here and on OS2 for the past 3 years, and have > posted messages only a few times. Guest guest
you might want to check in the archives (use the search feature on the home page) for posts from minirascal (). I'm not sure that what she had done was arthroplasty, but I do know she's had to have multiple procedures on her jaws and joints. Guest guest
I am not sure about the TMJ surgery yet, but it has been thrown out there. I have internal derangement of the R TMJ meniscus. Let us know how that goes. You may be my deciding factor.
