Guest guest
Connie, when I fell I did break my jaw and had neck pain too. I still get the neck pain but the jaw seems to be healing so i'm told. I too have another infection and I am getting fed up of it all now. It has been 4 month since my surgery, I see my surgeon on Tuesday to discuss what the next step is. They also think that my body's rejecting the plates. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Oh Connie! I can't believe it, how did it happen??? I don't get it. And what are they doing about it??? You go back on Friday and then what? (just realized that is tomorrow, but still). Did they give you more pain pills? Give you any idea of HOW this could have happened? (maybe you were practicing your kissing too hard! just kidding.) I'm so sorry. I'm bummed I'm doing so well, I feel like a misfit. I'm sending EVEN MORE healing vibes your way! I don't think I need them anymore, you can have all of mine. I hope your hubby is taking good care of you and your kids are behaving. I can't imagine. Please keep us/me updated on your situation, you will definetely be on my mind! Guest guest
Connie - So sorry to hear about your re-broken jaw. I've never heard of this happening in the absence of trauma before; what does the OS say is the reason it happened? Do you think the chewing you've done in the past week was the culprit? Interesting that you were cleared by your OS to chew and then this has to happen. I'm so-o sorry to hear this has happened to you! I hope this can be remedied as easily and painlessly as possible - you've been thru enough already, and then add another infection to this too. I hope you get some really good answers and news from the OS tomorrow. My thoughts are with you. Take care. ~~~~ Diane > Some of you may remember my posts to others within the past few days > where I complained that the right side of my jaw was hurting. Guest guest
I don't know anything about this personally, but I do know that people have bones of varying density -- and that one member even managed to break a plate. So there are lots of odd ways things can go. I am sorry that you had all that pain, though, and hope you're well on the way to recovery by now. Best, Cammie > > Some of you may remember my posts to others within the past few > days > > where I complained that the right side of my jaw was hurting. > Well, > > after tossing and turning all night long, at about 4 in the morning > > I decided as soon as I woke up that I would call my OS. Guest guest
I haven't had my surgery yet and this makes my spine tingle. I am so sorry this happened. Do they have a theory about what may have caused this? I hope you are doing better. > > Some of you may remember my posts to others within the past few days > > where I complained that the right side of my jaw was hurting.
