The Internet exists for people to say what happened to them, good and bad, and who their docs were. If it is true, or opinion, it is not slander to say someone was deficit. Sounds like a new website ought to be devoted to poor/bad doc stories from patients. love, c

But, one has to still be careful what you write in case you want to sue, then your words can and will be used against you in court. That is why you read so little, because the really bad ones are being sued. It is a gag order essentially, and in my opinioon, a distaster for the vulnerable. For myself, given a horrible malpractice that occured in my life two years ago, though attorneys were ready to ride and bring in a many thousands of dollar settlement easily, I decided, becuase of the silencing aspects of settlement, to turn away from it all. I can reach far more people by writing about what happened, rather than taking money and having to be silent. Just my two cent's worth. Just ceep's decision. Guest guest
Wasn't there also a case several years ago where a very popular surgeon in Atlanta threatened to sue one of his patients for a bad review on ObesityHelp? Anyone remember? You have to be really careful about posting reviews...just the facts, m'am, just the facts. in NJ *********************** > > > Obesityhelp.com allows you to evaluate (not slander) your surgeon.
