Tonya,

I left the hospital the day after surgery and went to the Dr. for a

post office visit, stopped by my house and packed some clothes and

then went to my parents. It was too hot there, so my husband brought

me back to our house and I slept in air conditioning. Two days later

I was out visiting relatives. I felt fine, but did get a little

tired. I was just bored being home! I had surgery July 18 and I

have been out and about going somewhere everyday. I didn't drive

myself, because of the medication, but I could still ride. My

surgery was on a Monday and I went shopping the following Saturday.

Hey i got out I guess about 5 days post op...got some funny looks but

i went to a coffee house and had a nice chai tea and then at some

point...I guess about 12 days post op or so I went to wal mart with my

parents to work on dorm shopping which is a huge amount of energy

use...I had to get a smoothie from the little place in walmart while I

was there but I made it through...and I guess 7 days post op I drove

to meet my bf at an exit so he wouldn't get lost getting to my

house...and then the trips to the OS for check ups twice a week. I

actually drove the last time, my mom was with me, but I was up for

driving and it's about an hour drive to my OS! So I guess I've been

pretty active. Although the first few days after being home from the

hospital all I wanted to do was lay on the couch.
