Guest guest
I went to see my endocrinologist last week because of weird fluctuations in my thyroid TSH levels. I don't know about levothyroid, but the doctor says synthroid medication should be taken in the morning. And, she says to separate calcium from synthroid by 6-8 hours. Also, synthroid must be separated from iron by 6-8 hours. So, if you can't take calcium with iron, either, when the heck are you supposed to get all your calcium in? I tried to find it on the Levothroid web site but couldn't find any information there. I take my Levothroid early in the morning and usually take Calcium/E/A & D at the same time or within an hour. If I have to wait 4 hours I won't take any of my Calcium until the afternoon. Considering that I take 4 cals per day, spacing them out in the afternoon/ evening is too difficult.>>
