I have the same concern, my son is suppose to start sleeping in his helmet

tonight and i'm concerned about this neck and spine too. Can anyone give us

some peace of mind.

I always put my baby on a soft quilt folded in two or three and left her head

off of it so it was resting at a more normal level. This only lasted the first

couple of weeks then she started sleeping on her tummy! Big ya for that!

Hi.

I would ask he people doing your band about special pillows or neck support.

They do most do their growing wen they are so you definitely do not want to take

it off and miss the growth spurts. Don't hesitate to call them with you

questions and concerns.

Our son only has 2 more weeks in his Doc band... we've never had a problem with

him sleeping in it. In fact, he started sleeping on his side more once he got

it, which we were happy about. I think if it were a problem, the folks at DO

would address it with you.
