Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share a little of our day of snow tubing.

Friday, we had a little snow storm here in New England. We got

about 15 inches, winds were gusting to 40 mph (Hurricane force

winds over Cape Cod), snow falling at 2 inches per hour, white

outs etc. All in all a great day. and I went snow tubing

during the height of the storm. The snow was too fluffy, so we

didn't stay out more than an hour or so. Not too many cars off the

road, just every other one we passed.

So, to make up for the poor outing on Friday, we went today also.

Conditions were great. temperature was perfect, the snow

packed just right, we were flying down the hill. There were a lot of

other people there as well.

I did learn this today. Four year olds can best be described as

Snow Tubing's little speed bumps. If you hit them while they are

standing, they do fly a ways. They bounce pretty good though.

Teenagers can aslo be considered as snow tubings bowling

pins. They don't fly as far when you hit them but they are more

acrobatic. I don't know why their boots come off so easy though.

If you want a better description, just watch America's Funniest

Home Videos.

Otherwise, we had a great day. I don't think I will need any

stitches, my ribs should heal soon, I will have to write with my left

arm for a few days and long as doesn't have a doctors

appointment, we won't have to explain his bruises.

Looks like it will be a great winter.
