Guest guest
Hi Jen. First of all, welcome back!!! And I have to tell you, I was LMAOROFL with your comment that " Just call me angelina jolie, but droolier. " I about fell off my chair! lol Get plenty of rest. From other surgeries I have had, if I am too active too soon, I seem to always pay for it. It is really easy to overdo, especially when you feel perky. Taking it easy for me, has always been a more stable recovery path. Just a heads up. Will watch for your posts as you feel up to posting. And welcome back! Guest guest
Jen - Welcome back and congratulations on getting to the other side! Sounds like everything went very well with your surgery, especially that you now have Angelina Jolie's lips, minimal swelling, etc. Do you have numbness throughout your face? It also sounds like you have a positive attitude, which will really help with your recovery. Take care of yourself and get lots of rest. Before you know it, you will be eating filet mignon again! ~~~~ Diane (Idaho) > > Hello all, > > Back home after surgery on Thursday, November 10th. Upper, lower, and genio. Guest guest
Hi Fran, Thanks for your support I am trying to take it slow, but it is hard ... I'm a fitness instructor, accustomed to exercising at least 2 hours a day usually, so this " dizzy and weak " thing is really really weird for me! But I'm still doing gentle yoga, stretching, and walking here and there, and feeling good. I have already paid for the perkiness ... my sister was over yesterday and after about half an hour of excited " chatting " (really more like grunting), I totally passed out. I will try better to pace myself. Without going back and reading all your prior posts, can you give me the nutshell version of your story? What type of surgery, when, and how your recovery has been? Thanks again for writing, talk to you soon Jen > > > > Hello all, > > > > Back home after surgery on Thursday, November 10th. Upper, lower, > and genio.
