Guest guest
I wonder about NAC losing it's "oomph". I've noticed before, and I noticed again this week, that when I open a new jar of NAC capsules, that the intestinal discomfort, otherwise known as the "NAC Trots" comes back. That will settle down as I continue with the jar, but then when I open a new one, here it comes again. It seems that may say something about a change in some part of the NAC as it sits in the open jar? I take them three times a day (if I remember the midday one). Bill C. N.E. Guest guest
I keep my NAC in the refrigerator to help maintain its potency. I have also found that eating yogurt or drinking activia helps quiet any GI disturbance. I do not always get an upset stomach, but it does not seem to be more or less prevalent with how " new " my NAC is. I also take the capsule form.
