Guest guest
Hi Ken, Colin is in weekly feeding therapy and what they do is a " cooking class " format where where they make a simple recipe each week focusing on new foods. It is amazing the things he will try in there - for example, pumpkin muffins were a huge hit and we have made them at home. They are so much more likely to try things that they have taken part in creating. We made homemade pizzas at home and I had lots of different cheeses out and Colin LOVED the goat cheese. He never would have tried it had I served it with a meal. He also made homemade pasta with his dad that he hand cranked and ate tons of it. It can be work sometimes, but try getting him involved in cooking more at home. There are lots of recipes on the Internet for easy to prepare nutritious kid foods. I can post some links if anyone is interested. Colin (RSS) and Hayden - 5 year twins Grant -
