Guest guest
Hey there I would love to get you guys expert opinions! I charted all of the measurements I have for True and wondered how they seem to you guys. I just included the percentages. His birth weight was 6.9 and height was 19 " and HC is 13.5 " . I looked over his birth records and found a few things I hadn't seen before, like he was blue at his 1 minute apgar, his mother had a wierd anti-M antibody which I can't seem to figure out what it means and so on. Her girls were both bigger than True according to the history they took. Anyway, here's his growth chart... Guest guest
Deb, From all you have told us True certainly seems to have several RSS traits. As for his growth chart, when you take out the dip for his vomiting/surgery spell, he does what most of our kids do which is following their own curve. Albeit, his does seem to hover a little higher than many of our children I'm not sure that would exclude an RSS diagnosis. I hope you come to the MAGIC convention this year. Dr. Harbison will be there as well as at least one other Dr. who is considered an expert on RSS. Of course, IF it's feasible, you can always fly to NY to see Dr. H before the convention. From his charts True seems to be a good weight/height ratio. I know you've been most concerned about the hypo-g which is one of the most important things to manage at True's age. Since, you asked, those are my thoughts! Dayna _____ From: RSS-Support [mailto:RSS-Support ] On Behalf Of VisibleWorship@...
