Rebroke my jaw

Some of you may remember my posts to others within the past few days

where I complained that the right side of my jaw was hurting. Well,

after tossing and turning all night long, at about 4 in the morning

I decided as soon as I woke up that I would call my OS. I woke up

at 7am with my jaw aching, but also my neck and the upper part of my

back hurting more than I ever had in my life. I panicked, tried to

sit up and the pain was even worse. In tears I called my husband

into the room. He brought me a pain pill, had me go back to sleep,

and called the OS' office when they opened. My OS is back east on a

trip, but thank goodness the OS who assisted during my surgery told

me to come right in. The xrays showed a crack going from side to

side off of my original split from the surgery. Also, in addition

it seems that I am getting ANOTHER infection. I am 6 1/2 weeks post

op and was released last Friday to start chewing. The OS said to

stick to softer foods and come back into the main office on Friday

so he could compare today's xrays with past ones. I know that when

fell they said she had cracked her jaw again. I've been extra

careful and have had no injuries to my face. Has anyone else

cracked their jaw post surgery? If so, did you also experience

extreme back and neck pain? I appreciate any experiences any of you

may have had. Thank you.

Connie
